Richard Botterill from Brightwells commented “We are honoured to have been chosen as Blenheim Palace’s official auctioneers to stage the first Elite Auction of Event Horses. Blenheim International Horse Trials are world renowned and will provide the most exclusive shop window to showcase an outstanding collection of future talent. Selection days are currently being organised in the UK, Ireland and Mainland Europe.

“Horses accepted for the auction will have passed stringent veterinary and x-ray assessments, which will be available for prospective purchasers to view while at Blenheim. Alternatively x-rays can be emailed to clients Veterinary Surgeons .“

Event Director Mandy Hervieu added:”Many of the overseas three day events such as Pau and Boekelo have event horse sales and with the UK being the home of eventing  we should have one too. We are delighted that Brightwells want to partner with us and we think this will add yet another interesting activity to the event.”
